Contour line
The intersection line joining level surface and ground surface is known as contour line or the line joining the points of equal reduced level.
Contour map
The map which shows only contour lines is known as contour map.
Contour interval
Counter interval is the difference between the two consecutive contour lines on map
Eg:- suppose a contour map having contour lines of 100m, 98m, 96m then
Contour interval= 2m
